Sebuah muzik video menjadi viral apabila nyanyian 2 orang remaja untuk lagu “Hot Problems” ini diibaratkan terlalu teruk berbanding video Rebecca Black yang menjadi fenomena kutukan, tahun lepas.
Setakat ini, video “Hot Problems” menerima sejumlah 6.2 juta tontonan dengan lebih 300 ribu jumlah ‘Dislikes’ di laman perkongsian video, Youtube. Rata-rata netizen memberikan respon yang negatif terhadap video ini termasuklah sebuah kenyataan daripada PerezHilton berbunyi, “We’d say that these girls just might have some problems… but whether they’re hot problems is still up in the air! Ha!”
Menurut 2 gadis ini, mereka sebenarnya tidak menyangka bahawa video ini akan tersebar dengan meluasnya kerana ia dirakamkan untuk tontonan rakan sahaja.
“It was all just for fun and to just have something we could share with our friends,” Drew said. “Well, we enjoy writing funny lyrics and songs and we decided that we really liked this one. So we decided to make it into a song and video, eventually. We really had no intentions when we put this up to begin with, so seeing it take so rapidly, we haven’t really had a chance to decide what we want to do. I think that hopefully there could be a future with it.”
